Free Paint Textures for Illustrators!
As an illustrator I use a lot of paint textures in my work to add dimension and unique style to my pictures. (Like the llamas below!) But sometimes it’s tough to find free textures online—so I’ve slowly been making and scanning in my own.

Maybe you have a hard time finding free textures too? If so, look no further! I have put up over 150 free paint sheets (in 5 different sets) for you to download on Gumroad. There are 10 unique textures in each set, along with 3-4 variations in color and tone of each file. (Except for set #2 which is all black and white)

Big File Alert!
These textures are all created by hand and scanned in at 600 DPI.
You do not need to give credit for your use. You are free to use them in commercial projects and art as well.
**These specific files are not for resale. Do not sell or use these files in any stock or other product to sell, giveaway, or distribute. Do not feed AI.
If you find them useful, be sure to give it a five star rating so other artists can find them easier!

Not sure what to do with the files? Check out my other article for ideas here.
You can see how I used textures in the above image to create fun, yet odd, characters with lots of movement and style!
